Directors

Hearts of Hope currently has five directors who are responsible for the management and financial governance within the Section 21 Registered company. Our directors meet monthly to discuss financial and operational matters that arise from time to time. We are currently in the process of recruiting an additional director. Our seven directors are listed below:

Brenda Wortley
Born and bred in Bulawayo Zimbabwe. Studied at the University of Natal Pietmaritzburg. She has spent 16 years in the media side of the advertising industry based in Johannesburg. Brenda was Media Director of J Walter Thompson at the time of the formation of MindShare – a joint venture company of Ogilvy’s media divisions and JWT’s . She is now a mother of two children, wife to Stuart and runs her own business. Central to her work within the advertising world as well as the broader community, is the need to give back to society and to make a difference to peoples lives in the future.

Sandi Metelerkamp
Born in Johannesburg and growing up in Durban and Johannesburg, Sandi studied through Damelin College and has spent 15 years in the media side of the advertising industry. A large portion of that time with the JWT/MindShare group. Currently she runs her own business in the advertising field. She and her husband Neil have two children, they believe that it’s imperative that able persons start contributing and making a difference in our communities.
