The most effective way for charities to raise money is to rally their supporters to fundraise on their behalf.

Hearts of Hope has partnered with GivenGain, an international foundation based in Switzerland, which was founded on the idea “to massively boost non-profits’ fundraising potential by giving them the tools to empower their supporters to fundraise on their behalf.”

GivenGain provides a platform for individuals and corporates in South Africa and overseas to fundraise on behalf of, and donate to their preferred charity. Without Hearts of Hope having to set up expensive international offices and employ staff, we are thus able to receive donations from around the world.

GivenGain is just one of the many ways that Hearts of Hope generates funds and creates awareness for our organisation, while at the same time providing our friends and supporters with a way to fundraise on our behalf.

GivenGain takes a 5% admin fee which can be covered by the donor, and which is then re-invested into building new tools to make giving easier and better for everyone.

Click ‘Start Fundraising ’.
Select your fundraising campaign.
Sign-up and create your fundraiser account.
Set-up your activist project. (And be sure to tell everyone why you are raising funds!)
Set your fundraising target.
Set your deadline.
Add pictures and other details to make your project POP!
Share and promote your activist project URL with everyone you know!
